SEVERE HARD FREEZE WEATHER NOTICE

Important Safety Information for All Residents

A severe winter freeze with possible sleet and icy road conditions is expected. Please take the following precautions to stay safe and protect your home.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

• Extremely cold temperatures
• Sleet and icy surfaces
• Possible power outages and hazardous travel

PROTECT YOUR HOME

• Keep heat on at all times (recommended: at least 65°F)
• Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air to circulate
• Let faucets drip slightly to prevent frozen pipes
• Report no heat, frozen pipes, or water leaks immediately

STAY SAFE OUTDOORS

• Avoid unnecessary travel
• Wear shoes with good traction
• Use handrails and walk carefully on icy surfaces
• Keep children away from icy sidewalks and parking areas

SPACE HEATER & FIRE SAFETY

• Do NOT use ovens or stoves for heat
• Keep space heaters at least 3 feet away from anything flammable
• Never leave heaters unattended
•  Do not use grills or generators indoors
