Barbara Joyce Crook

Barbara Joyce Crook, an employee of the Prichard Housing Authority, died Friday. She was 50.

A native of Clarke County, she was a resident of Mobile and a member of Cedar Street Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, William "Billy" Crook, Phillip Smith and Skylar Smith; her mother, Ethel Powell; her father, the Rev. I.T. McKinney; two sisters, Brenda Walker and Gesina Givance; and four brothers, Jesse Dawson, Elbert Powell, Albert Martin and Charles Campbell, all of Mobile; and one granddaughter.

Viewing will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at Small's Mortuary on South Broad Street. Viewing will also be Saturday from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at Cedar Street Missionary Baptist Church in the Blackjack community in Saraland. Burial will be in Bailey Cemetery in Saraland.
